History of PaloSanto

Palo Santo (Bursera graveolens) is a tropical tree that grows
spontaneously in some areas of Central and South America and that
it is grown in the regions of Ecuador and Peru. Its name comes from
a peculiarity linked to its flowering, which occurs on Christmas Day.
The harvesting of its wood, considered beneficial, almost sacred, takes place
through a peculiar and precise procedure to preserve this protected plant.
Palo Santo wood is in fact harvested eco-responsibly from naturally occurring trees
fallen and left to age in the same place for 10 years. This process
allows the plant to absorb the energies of the forest and release the resin that it
gives the characteristic and unmistakable aroma.
Palo Santo wood (Holy tree) is cut directly on the site where it is located
aged and from it small sticks of about 10 cm are obtained which are used as
incense.

Its use dates back to ancient times by the natives of America, also used by shamans
by the Inca people as a remedy to harmonize the body, mind and spirit, helping to
restore inner balance.
It is also called "aroma of the soul" precisely because its smoke is pleasant
aromatic, possesses great spiritual power. For this reason it is also used
